Camerons birthday is in a few days. He’s going to be 6. SIX! When did that happen!? HOW?!?!? I can not believe it. He’s turning into such a…KID. It amazes me. Any trace of baby, toddler, preschooler like behavior is slowly making its way out the door.

Evan is starting to show his version of the terrible twos. In all honesty, I don’t know if its because I have learned how to deal with them after Cameron or if he just has a “milder” case, but its honestly not that bad. His “fits” just are moaning crys and usually result in throwing ourselves on the floor, face down to cry and than within a few mintues or seconds really, he gets up and says all done and we move on. Not too bad ha!

Aubrey girl has learned to roll over back to belly. Just like Evan, she had a hard time getting over the chubby little arms that she has, but she finally did it, without me seeing of course. Day in and day out, we sat on the floor with her trying to get her to roll. Go figure, one morning, I leave her on the floor to go get Evan milk, I come back out, and what do you know, she was rolled over and looking up at me laughing. Little stinker. She is starting to gain more strength and sits up with a little assistance. We discovered that she does NOT like Oatmeal or Carrots. Usually results in massive spit up.

All in all, everyone is doing wonderful. Happy and healthy. It’s all we can ask for. I am really excited for the summer and being able to spend lots of time with the kids at the pool or doing little day trips with their cousins around the area.

Aubrey is now 14 lbs 12 oz and 24” tall already.  She will be eating rice cereal soon.  How did she manage to get to 4 months already?!?!  This is going WAY TOOOOO fast.

Evan is doing great too.  Getting big, learning his letter sounds now since he already knows all the letters, uppercase and lowercase and his numbers.

Cameron keeps impressing me with his ability to be a great big brother to both Evan and Aubrey.  He is constantly trying to find ways to keep them happy or make them smile.  If he knows Evan enjoys something, he goes and searches for every toy he can find about it and makes sure Evan gets to play with it.  It’s SO very sweet.

Yes…I am mean…I found these hilarious ears at Target and had to get them to put on Aubrey.  Ger kept telling me I was mean but COME ON!!! LOOK HOW HAPPY SHE IS?!?!?!?

After a long 1.5 hrs of playing with her brothers, Aubrey FINALLY zonks out and takes a rest.

Sigh…This melts my heart  He’s SO in love with her

January flew by faster than I expected and now we are only a few days away from Valentines Day. Nothing really new to report on other than Aubrey is now rolling over from belly to back on her own and now loves to play in the exersaucer all the time. Its a nice change of pace from either laying on her belly or on her back playing. She likes a different view. I place the exersaucer by the back sliding door and she loves to watch things outside while playing in it. She especially loves to see Cameron playing outback while she plays there too.

Cameron and Evan are having a blast together keeping busy on the colder days indoor by playing Just Dance 3 on the kinect that they got for Christmas. It’s so cute to watch Evan try and do every single dance move that Cameron does too. He really looks up to his brother. It’s very sweet.

I also finally caught Aubrey smiling on my real cameron and NOT just on the iphone camera.  Thank goodness

Wow!  2 years old already?!  How did that happen??  This year has been such a whirlwind with you.  You went from being a quiet little 1 year old, to a big boy that doesn’t seem to ever stop.  You are SOOOO smart.  You are very loving, its VERY genuine.  Your happy, bubbly, and all around a hoot.  We love you so much and we couldn’t ever picture a day without you.  This year we have seen you:

-Learn ALL your letters, both upper case and NOW lower case.
-Know ALL your numbers up to 10.
-Learning basic colors & shapes.
-Use an iPad way better than most adults can.
-You console your brother when he’s upset.
-You became a big brother.  Your proved us all wrong on how you would be around your new little sister too.  You love her VERY much.
-You LOVE to sing and dance, just like your older brother.  You especially love the Fresh Beat Band and any songs that come on the radio (Party Rock Anthem, Tonight Tonight, Black Horse and a Cherry Tree…)
-You want to be SO Much like your brother.  It’s all monkey see, monkey do with you too.  At times, it is VERY cute, the other moments drive us insane sometimes
-Your favorite movie is Toy Story…any of them, but you are OBSESSED with Buzz Lightyear
-You are finally giving up the food battle with us and will try anything at this point within reason.
-You love to talk to your Aunt B on the phone daily.
-Football on TV seems to grab your attention and your father just absolutely LOVES that.
-E-A-G-L-E-S is a chant you love to scream wherever we go.  Along with WE ARE…PENN STATE!

There are so many more things to list but I am slowly starting to draw a blank.  I will add them if I think of more.

Happy Birthday Evan.  You have made these past 2 years SO enjoyable, I can’t wait to see what else you have in store for us

We got a little sneak peak into what Christmas will be like for Evan since his birthday is on the 15th. We had a little family gathering the other afternoon for his birthday. Lets just say that we need to make sure all toys are ready to be pulled out of the box right away or we may have an angry little dude on our hand.

Cameron keeps prancing around the house singing Christmas carols. He informed me and his kindergarten teacher that he wants to play an instrument. He got to see his school music department put on a concert and he was IN LOVE with it. Just like his mommy I can’t wait till he is big enough for music lessons or choir…I know how much will love it.

Aubrey girl is starting to hold her head up REALLY well and is up for much longer periods at a time and is smiling LOTS now. We have been doing lots of tummy time and the boys love to gather around her in the afternoon and call her name and see who gets the bigger smile out of her. It’s extremely adorable. They both have an amazing amount of love for her. She’s one lucky little baby girl

Next week Evan will have his 2 year check up and Aubrey will have her 2 month check up. I will update the stats next week

13 days till christmas! I can’t WAIT!

Cameron is SUPER pumped that Christmas is coming soon. He already wrote and mailed his letter to Santa Claus the other day. Randell, our sneaky little elf has made his appearance too. I will post pictures of him soon. So far he has hung upside down from our fan, rode around in the Mystery Machine, hid in the m&m dispenser, played with Cameron’s DSi games and as of last night, decided to hug and hold on to one of my willow tree family figures. He is keeping Cameron on his toes for the most part.

Evan has become our little Toy Story fanatic. He LOVES Buzz Lightyear. Screams in delight whenever he sees anything that has Buzz or Woody on it and runs around the house attempting to say “To infinity….AND BEYOND!”

Aubrey girl is now a whole 7 weeks old. She’s officially grown out of her newborn stuff. I am slightly sad but shocked how long she fit in it for. WIth Cameron and Evan, I was lucky to get 1 month out of newborn sized clothes. She lasted almost 2 whole months. 3 month sized clothes are still slightly big on her though. She’s starting to stay more awake and alert during the day. I have yet to capture it on my real camera, but she is starting to smile and coo at us and it just fills our hearts so much it could burst.

SO there ya have it. Another update in less than 2 weeks. See!? I AM back. Really I am!!!!!

Cameron and I just finished decorating the christmas tree for this year, I hope to get a good picture of it and will post that next. So long for now!

Lets see. Cameron, my smart little guy. He entered Kindergarten this year. We already had his conferences an the teacher is very happy with him. He is wonderful at reading comprehension. Already above his benchmark for February and its only November! Go Cam! He’s getting super big and tall. I noticed while visiting his class the other week that he was a good head taller than his classmates. I knew he was tall, but MAN!!!!!

Evan, Evan, Evan. Well…lets see. My 22 month old now knows all the letters to the alphabet…he knew them BEFORE he could sing the ABC’s which I just discovered today that he knows how to do. He knows most of his numbers now too. He is such a polar opposite of his brother, yet wants to be JUST like him. This is good and bad all at the same time haha. He’s my little love bug. I can’t believe he will be 2 soon!!!!!!

Aubrey girl. I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about having a girl at first honestly. I mean I was excited, but I am SO used to all this boy stuff that I just didn’t know what to do. I can fully say, 100% that I am IN LOVE with having a girl. What a nice way to end adding to our family. She’s truly perfect in every way. We can’t stop staring at her and hugging and kissing her all the time. Cameron obviously is VERY in love with his sister. What shocks me most is Evan. I thought for sure that Evan would be funny about having a new baby in the house. NOPE. HE LOVE LOVE LOOOOOOVES this baby. He loves to lay on the floor next to her all the time. It’s just way too sweet

Now that I started back up blogging, I will be sure to update more often. After all, I have no more excuses for this.
