Christmas Tree 2009

Daddy’s little helper…

Cam is SUPER excited about moving into a big boy room in a little while and to help control the antsyness (is that a word??), Ger decided to let him “help” get things ready.

Just passing time…

Watching the 6 abc Ikea, Thanksgiving Day Parade…anxiously awaiting for Santa to come on TV.  We were getting a tad bit antsy…

Sunset

Nope…not a picture of Cameron…sorry…just too pretty not to post.  Sunset this evening at 5pm.

REAL drawings…

Excuse the poor picture quality…Ger took this at night, with an iphone…but we are so proud.  Cameron drew a picture for his daddy for his birthday yesterday.  This is the first time I have actually seen Cameron draw something that wasn’t just scribbles with crayons.  He was determined to draw his hand, with a face and smile and some hair.  I just can’t help but smile when I see this :)

Playdoh…Gag…

Ever play with something SO much as a child, that as an adult, you can’t stand anymore?  Yeah…thats my feelings on playdoh.  I know its a childhood right of passage to have a playdoh set of some sort, but at this point, I have avoided pretty well.  Until tonight…Ger came home with the Spaghetti Factory playdoh set for Cam to play with.  Ger knows my feelings about playdoh and totally expected me to just take pictures and gracefully walk away.  The mere SMELL of the stuff makes me gag.  I dont know why…I think it’s just that I played with it TOO much as a child.  I was thankful that daycare takes care of this sensory exploration…but apparently it has made its way into the Krauss house.  I know I am not the only mommy out there to feel the same way…my friend Lyndsay feels the same way too ;-) (see item #3 on her list)

Cam sings

I love being able to record him without him ever knowing.

Cam singing “Belle” from Beauty & the Beast yesterday…

Happy Halloween

Wow…where did time go.  Not only did I manage to neglect the blog for almost a whole month, but October is over and we are quickly approaching Thanksgiving and the Christmas and thaaaaaaan….new baby!!  Woah!  Time is just FLYING.

Cam had such a good Halloween weekend.  It started with Friday, going to the dentist with Ger…Proud to announce my kiddo is cavity free :) .  Than Gerry and Cameron went to the pumpkin patch and picked out 2 pumpkins to draw on when they got home after they carved the others we had at the house already.  On Saturday, we woke up and got dressed and headed to Sesame Place for Counts Halloween Party, than we went home for a nap, and than trick or treating with his daddy.  Cameron lasted about 45 minutes…just in time to come home since it started to POUR outside yesterday.  We really didn’t get many trick or treaters this year…I’m thinking the weather was the main reason.
