House Update…
Sesame Place
Sorry it’s been so long. My computer has been unplugged and moved into another room, so I just haven’t had a chance to sit down and download pictures into my computer.
Memorial Day weekend we decided it was time to get Cameron season passes to sesame place. LOVE doesn’t even being to describe Cam’s feelings towards this place. We are SO lucky that we live right near it.
As soon as we walked through the front gate, the FIRST thing Cameron noticed…The Roller Coaster. I honestly didn’t think Cameron would really go through with going on it. But I’ll be darned if he grabbed Gerry’s hand and raced him to the line. They hopped right on and had a BLAST. Look for Gerry in the red tank top…4 cart to the back…in front of the empty cart. Cameron is right next to him:
Than we walked around and got to play in the Counts Castle splash pool area. Cameron wasn’t a fan of the big bucket of water that surprised people every so many minutes…so he resorted to playing BEHIND the whole fun area haha.
We stopped for a snack after lots of water play. We had to force him to pretty much eat. He didn’t want to stop
BUT….the HIGHLIGHT of his time there….Meeting Bert & Ernie. Oh my goodness. The pure excitment he had when he saw them meeting people and hugging them. He ran right up to them on his own without being scared and hugged them, gave them high fives and shook their hands. After that, he kept talking about how they were his best friends
Melts my heart
New View…
Siding is going up…
Surprise! A new window…
Construction Day 2, 3 & 4…Oh, and a haircut…
Whew, what a weekend. I wish I would of taken MORE pictures than this. But it was a crazy weekend. Friday was filled with ripping down siding and chopping down a fireplace (the chimney outside). Saturday we (we as in my hard working men…I chased after a toddler…I take NO credit what so ever…these men kicked BUTT this weekend!) ripped out the whole fireplace out which than led to ripping down the WHOLE left side wall of my house. I had a great view of the neighbors haha. I also had a new window in Cameron’s toy room installed and another was eventually installed on that wall that they tore down. Sunday, I got a new back door installed. Seriously…I can not even begin to thank Gerry, my dad, Rick, Brian, Jeff, and Dale enough for all their hard work throughout the weekend. I really don’t know how we would be able to do any of this without you guys.
Fireplace torn out (this is also the same wall we tore down completely):

On Saturday I took Cameron for a haircut….I think they took about 10 lbs of hair off the kid. It was crazy how much was sitting on the ground.
Cameron kept him self busy by running around crazy, especially today (Sunday)
