Welcome

Hello, welcome to my NEW blog! My name is Sandra. I'm a mommy of a crazy & wild 2.5 year old, Cameron. A wife to my loving & very supportive husband Gerry, and an avid lover of anything photography related. I can almost always be found with my camera around my neck, waiting to get the next silly shot of my son, my neice, my nephew, or even your kiddo. The blog consists of both my personal crazy fun life, and of my photography venture. Sit back, read along, and enjoy. Feel free to leave comments and make me giggle. Thanks for stopping by!

Catching up…

Wow…almost 1 month since I last posted and even than, it wasn’t about Cameron.  Sorry for the lack of posts.  Even though its not Tuesday…I’m gonna do my lists :)  Pardon the pictures…they are from my iphone…I promise the next post will have my usual big full size pics that are much prettier :)

1 - Ready????  Due December 21, 2009.  Krauss Baby v2.0!!!  I am 15 weeks.  We will find out the sex in a few weeks…I will post a much better ultrasound picture than.  This is PART of the reason for the lack of photos and posts on the blog.  The morning sickness kicked my butt.

2 - Cameron is currently VERY obsessed with Disney princess movies.  Particularly the whole Mary Poppins movie.  He walks around the house talking with a toddler british accent, calling us “Cheeky” and “Non of your logging about”  Than walking around the house singing Spoonful of Sugar and Jolly Holiday.  He is also a big fan of Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty too.  If I could figure out how to post sound clips, I would post one of him singing mary poppins, but I am clueless on how to do that…anyone know how??

3 - Cameron and his cousin Madeline went to my fathers cruise night last week together.  They had a blast together and never had a fight which is really a big deal since after 5 minutes of usually being together, there is some sort of screaming/hitting/yelling going on :)  They even posed for a picture.

4 - I had the amazing opportunity to travel with Susan Stripling to Napa, California this past week to help assist at a wedding she was shooting.  AMAZING!!!  Napa was so beautiful, but HOT…seriously the hottest weather I think I’ve ever felt in my life.  I left on a Thursday and came home Monday morning from a red eye Sunday night.  We stopped at the Golden Gate Bridge on the way to Napa :)  I took pictures with my regular camera but snapped a quick on with my phone, along with a picture of one of the locations we worked at.

Soooooooooooooo that’s about it for now.  I hope to pick up my camera more often now that I am not feeling so sick so often anymore.  So stay tuned for more soon :)

Hotel DuPont Wedding

I had the ULTIMATE honor of being able to second shoot for the amazing Susan Stripling this past weekend. It truly was an honor.  The wedding was at the Hotel DuPont in Wilmington, DE.

More house pictures…

Thanks to the hubs for taking pictures since I have been SERIOUSLY lacking in that area.

House Update…

Quick little update from Gerry’s cell phone today :)

Sesame Place

Sorry it’s been so long.  My computer has been unplugged and moved into another room, so I just haven’t had a chance to sit down and download pictures into my computer.

Memorial Day weekend we decided it was time to get Cameron season passes to sesame place.  LOVE doesn’t even being to describe Cam’s feelings towards this place.  We are SO lucky that we live right near it.

As soon as we walked through the front gate, the FIRST thing Cameron noticed…The Roller Coaster.  I honestly didn’t think Cameron would really go through with going on it.  But I’ll be darned if he grabbed Gerry’s hand and raced him to the line.  They hopped right on and had a BLAST.  Look for Gerry in the red tank top…4 cart to the back…in front of the empty cart.  Cameron is right next to him:

Than we walked around and got to play in the Counts Castle splash pool area.  Cameron wasn’t a fan of the big bucket of water that surprised people every so many minutes…so he resorted to playing BEHIND the whole fun area haha.

We stopped for a snack after lots of water play.  We had to force him to pretty much eat.  He didn’t want to stop :)

BUT….the HIGHLIGHT of his time there….Meeting Bert & Ernie.  Oh my goodness.  The pure excitment he had when he saw them meeting people and hugging them.  He ran right up to them on his own without being scared and hugged them, gave them high fives and shook their hands.  After that, he kept talking about how they were his best friends :)

Arrrgggghhhh Matey

Melts my heart

I can’t tell you the last time this happened.  Cam NEVER falls asleep like this.  He just climbed up on the couch and wanted to cuddle.  Put his dog under his head and just laid there.  Next thing I know, Ger told me he was out like a light.  It was only 6pm!

New View…

Ger finished up the front of house yesterday.  What do you think?!  I LOVE LOVE LOVE it.

Siding is going up…

YAY!!!!  Gerry, Rick, and Dad started to put up some of the siding last night.  I am SUPER excited to see what it will look like.  Please excuse the crappy pics.  They are from my iphone.
